Commencing his career
more than thirteen years ago, he has
been an innovative mixer with club
residencies in some of Kuala Lumpur’s
hottest night-spots such as the
legendary first ever dance club in
Malaysia, Fire which send Malaysians
into the super fuelled dance era and
years after that in Energy, Underground,
The Backroom, Scandals, Flux and
Atmosphere, TwelveSI.
Recently
DJ
Love
has
introduced ‘Transcend’ his own dedicated
trance night especially for the true
purveyors of trance music in Malaysia.
The Transcend banner has flown

all the way to DanceValley Festival in Holland
through London based producers Matt
Harris and Scott Harris.
DJ
Love has produced and
released his debut single, “abduction”
under Shermix and EQ Music labels in
2002 and can be found in the album
'Presence', which is the first dance
music album fully produced by local DJ's
in Malaysia. His latest single
“Liberate” is out now and can be found
on the “Presence KUL03; Global
Dancefloor” album under Gillazia
Records.
He has
played with some of the world’s best and
among the most memorable are Ron Van Den
Beuken (Spinnin Records), Kyau & Albert
(Euphonic Records), Judge Jules (BBC
Radio 1), DJ Emily (Yoshitoshi), AJ
Gibson (Godskitchen), Pete Wardman
(Slinky), Danny Howells, Casino Club
(Berlin), Max Graham, Darren Stokes,
Christopher Lawrence, Lisa Lashes with
SafriDuo and Faithless the band.
The experience of
overseas gigs in Thailand, Singapore,
Burma, Indonesia and Russia has
continued to contribute to the
development of his music and spinning
style. Most noted among DJ's in
Malaysia's as the 'Royal Spinner',
having had the honor of being chosen as
the DJ for the Royal Party at the Brunei
Palace.
Despite being in the
studio often, the one thing that has
remained
DJ
Love's greatest love is the
interaction between the decks and the
crowd, which is his chosen profession
for the last 13 years. DJ-ing has taken
him to many places with huge audiences
and he is a working example of the sort
of talent his reputation suggests. |
