Leonard Da Silva Jazz Trio one of Malaysia's hippest trios. This band bring a hugely infectious enthusiasm and energy to their music-making. A regular on the Penang music circuit, band leader Leornard Da Silva is a film composer and music educator as well as a consummate keyboards-player; while young veteran drummer Jonathan Scully hails from a family of well-known musicians, and in 2007 was named Best Drummer in the Malaysian Band Competition. Completing the line-up is bassist Sam, who has played with bands in both the UK and Australia, as well as throughout Malaysia.

There are the house band at the renowned Spice 'N' Rice restaurant in Penang, and have also played at numerous prestigious hotels and restaurants on the island, including G Hotel, Bagan, Rasa Sayang Hotel and Golden Sands Hotel.
